Boat rebuild gallery — before & after
Real photos from the Clearwater shop — no stock images. Below is one boat taken from a rotted transom to a finished hull, followed by other recent work on decks, consoles, paint and trailers.
One boat, start to finish
Full transformation
This rig came in needing structural work from stern to deck. Thomas stripped the transom, rebuilt the core, replaced the flooring, and finished the hull with a fresh exterior paint job — all from the same shop in Clearwater, FL.
Phase 1Transom rebuild
Wet core removed, new transom laminated to the hull and stringers, then faired and finished.
Phase 2Full exterior paint
Hull sanded, faired and refinished after structural repairs were completed.
Phase 3Floor replacement
Soft decking cut out, stringers repaired underneath, and new sealed flooring installed.
Side by side
Before & after comparisons
Matched before/after shots from current Clearwater projects land here. Each pair compares side by side — or with a drag handle that wipes between the two.
Transom replacement
Wet plywood core removed and a new transom laminated to the hull and stringers, then faired flush.
Full exterior repaint
Chalked, patched hull sanded and faired, then refinished in a single uniform colour.
Floor & deck replacement
Soft decking cut out, stringers repaired underneath, and new sealed flooring installed.
