What a full rebuild includes
Every rebuild starts with a real inspection: coring gets probed, soft spots get mapped, and you get an honest scope before anything is cut. From there the work can include transom replacement, stringer and floor repair, fiberglass and structural glasswork, new gas tank installation, rigging, and interior and exterior paint.
Owner-run work, start to finish
Thomas does the work himself. There is no rotating crew and no handing your boat to a subcontractor. That is why local owners bring 20-foot bay boats and 25-foot offshore rigs to the shop on N Highland Ave instead of the big yards.
Timeline and pricing
Rebuilds range from a few weeks to a full season depending on how much structure is involved. You get a straight answer about cost and schedule up front, and updates with photos as the project moves.
When to call the shop
- Deck flexes or the transom moves when the motor is trimmed
- Water in the bilge that never seems to stop
- Old boat with good bones and a tired everything-else
- You want one shop handling structure, systems and paint
